The focus is on material intimacy within the territory of home interior. Wooden frames, madras foam, tape, salt and merino wool are combined and uncovered in various ways. The foam is displayed without cover, the wool is behind glass and hay pokes through golden knit to invoke a kind of ‘material exposure’, focusing on the sensual and intimate qualities of our everyday objects.

A soft spot, 2017.
Corner installation (200 x 100 x 50 cm) Merino wool, acrylic paint, pigment, wood frames, glass, metal brackets. The naughty corner is framing a pile of coloured salt. Next to the salt rests a large framed woollen shape reminding us of an hourglass.

In-relation, 2017.
Wall based sculpture (50 x 60 x 23 cm) Merino wool, acrylic paint, pigment, wood frames, glass, metal brackets. Resembling overgrown samples of biological tissue are a unit of framed and painted wool. They highlight both difference and similarities as ways of being in-relation, part of a group.
